No seriously, are people not done with this yet? Google, what do you mean ublock origin is no longer supported? What does it mean I can’t install it anymore? What was it about manifest v2 that made you guys switch to manifest v3? Was ublock that hard to block?

Microsoft, what do you mean my computer has to upgrade to Windows 11? My computer has been working fine, what happened? Wait, notepad updated? It now has tabs, markdown features, and ai? Who the fuck asked for it? Is that why notepad now gets stuck on “not responding” when people try opening it, only for it to try and open a now non-existent file because last tab was that file? Good fucking job!

And on that note, I heard that Windows explorer now runs slower and uses more memory? What have you guys done? Am I not on Windows 11? Hell no! Soon as you told me I had to upgrade because Windows 10 is “not supported” I switched to a different operating system where I do not need to update parts of it that I do not want to.

Seriously, what the fuck is going on? I can’t keep track. When did we go from computers being these machines we owned, where we ran our own software, produced our own files, where they stayed local until we hit the upload button on a website? When did everything go into this online-first and “we want to track what you do” model? How is PSA: Adobe has a setting that performs content analysis on your data whether or not you use Photoshop. It is enabled by default. a real fucking thing? What the fuck is happening in the world.

WE OWN OUR DEVICES, THEY ARE NOT RENTAL

Think about it for a second. We use our devices for a variety of things, from looking up information online to doing creative work like drawing to video editing to animation and so on. List so large it would be longer than this article.

Here is the deal: why do you, the corporation own my device? Why are you, Google, trying to block “side loading 3rd party apps”? Which by the way, is another bullshit term. I own the device and I am INSTALLING AN APP. NOT CIRCUMVENTING A DIGITAL LOCK TO INSTALL A FUCKING APP LIKE IT’S A PROPRIETARY DEVICE. My phone is not a game console, nor is it a device you own. It is my device, I do what I want with it. Fuck off.

Also, stop saying it’s for kids.

Yes, I am sick of it. Every single time. I am sick of this lie. It’s not for kids, nor women, nor public safety. As of writing this article it’s February 15th, 2026. DOJ hearing happened in America on February 11th, 2026. The fact that this conversation:

• Question (to survivors): How many of you have reached out either individually or through a lawyer or representative to offer to provide testimony and evidence?

• Question (to survivors): And of those that reached out, how many of you were ignored by the Department of justice?

The fact that this happened, live on TV, been 4 days and nothing came out of it, nobody should fucking believe that anything “made for kids safety” is nothing but a fucking lie.

If anyone ever tells you that we need to breach your privacy to keep kids safe, it’s a lie. Keeping kids safe is the responsibility of parents and public workers like police, not corporations.
